One of the ways you can make a first impression is by having a great profile photo.

The first thing the interviewer sees is your CV.  That's even before you've been invited for an interview.  Is your profile photo on your CV?

If it's not, then perhaps the interviewer will look you up and check to see if you have a LinkedIn profile. Oh!, yes, they will do that.

So, when was the last time you updated your Linkedin photo?  I'm already guessing 5, maybe 10+ years ago.

You're so proud of how you looked back then, perhaps you still feel that young, but you're living in the past because that is not the reality.

In any case, just look at quality of that photo, it's terrible.  What does that profile photo say about you?

The example above is of Christine. She booked me for a photo session as she was looking for a new job.  She understood the importance of having a good quality profile photo, with which she could promote herself.

I remember her telling me not long after she started her new job, that the company knew she was serious about applying for the job, because she had made the effort to present her CV with a professional photo.
